The dreaded "THUD"

Today is a sad day in my motherhood. Lia has figured out how to climb out of her crib :( This morning I heard the dreaded "THUD" from her room and Taz and I ran in as fast as we could to find her on the floor. Luckily she was not hurt- she only cried for a second then she was over it. She is only 15 months old!!!! What am I going to do now??? I love her crib it is so cute and is a 5 in 1, but I just don't think she is anywhere ready for a toddler bed. So the only solution is to turn it around so the shorter end faces the wall and see how long that lasts!!!

Decker Day at Lagoon

This weekend was the Decker family reunion in Park City. Aunt Emilie was kind enough to let us join her during her week's stay at the Marriott Mountain Side resort in Park City. The Taz Decker family arrived Wednesday night to join Em and Mom. The girls shopped while Taz was hard at work. The Ryan Decker family, Ali, and Dad joined us on Friday morning for a fun filled day at Lagoon!!! We headed back to the PC to swim on Saturday- the kids had so much fun!! A few of us rode the Alpine Side- while Ali and Taz (the dare devils) took the zipline down the mountain!! We had a blast and look forward to doing it again next year!!

DHS 10 year reunion!!

Last weekend we went down to St. George to attend Taz's 10 year Dixie High School reunion!!! I was so honored to be on the arm of the man that held so many titles in 97' starting with "Most Preferred" and "4A state wrestling heavyweight champ" and "Spring Fling King" and "Football Stud"!!!! Basically the hottest guy in school!! He is still just as hot to me- he just has a few more grey hairs!! It was so much fun to see all his friends and their wives that we only get to see a few times a year. Here is to another ten years of greatness!!! I love you Tazzy!

I LOVE MY ELMO

Lia just loves her Tickle me Elmo she got on her first birthday! She carries him around and kisses him all day long. In fact last week she pointed right at him and said clear as day "Elmo" which is one of her first words!!!!! She is looking more and more like a big girl and no longer my little baby. Time flies so fast so I am just trying to enjoy every day I am blessed to have this little angel in my life.

Lia just hates when her Daddy leaves to work! This morning I was trying to get some new pics of her to post and it was time for Daddy to go and she was NOT happy about it.

Time for a blog

Well I guess it was about time to start a family blog!! We bought our house in Clearfield in Feb. and have been painting like crazy- but it now looks great! Since we moved in Lia has gone from crawling to walking and now running full speed everywhere she goes! She is now 14 months old- and climbing everything! Taz is still working for Marriott but he is now running the show at the downtown marketing office he also earned his real estate license. I am now a domestic diva staying home with our wild child and loving it!! I look forward to staying in better touch with all of you- oh technology!!!!
